Lauren Strawsine, Caitlyn McGuire, and Dr. Peters have just returned from the ECS meeting in Cancun. Lauren presented on her work \"Reduction of α,β- and α,ω-Dibromoalkanes at Silver Cathodes\" and Caitlyn spoke about \"Direct Reduction of Legacy Pesticides at Silver Cathodes in Dimethylformamide and Dimethylformamide–Water Mixtures\".

Erick Pasciak defended his thesis \"Esters, Amides, and Electrons, Oh My!\" and received his Ph.D. Erick will continue his research at Indiana while teaching as a Briscoe Fellow this year. Congratulations, Erick!



Congrats to new graduates

We congratulate Ethan Wappes and Ian Walker for completing their undergraduate education in May. Ethan will be attending graduate school at the Ohio State University in the fall, and Ian plans to apply for medical school.
